North Pacific operates five concentration yards, four located in Missouri and one in Arkansas. With a total kiln production of more than 40 million board feet annually, our yards are designed to handle various customized services including surfacing, double end trimming, straight line ripping, special sorting, width and length tallies and JIT deliveries. We grade our lumber twice, once before and once after drying, to ensure quality products and high customer yields. Our double end trimming includes over length, providing additional benefits for our customers.

Lumber Procurement Process

Check out our step-by-step lumber procurement process. Our specialty is Red Oak. We also produce White Oak, Ash, Walnut, Hickory, and Maple. In addition, we produce Southern Yellow Pine under hardwood standards. To insure quality, we grade our lumber twice. By grading after kiln drying, we are able to keep our customer yields high. Our stock is double-end trimmed with overlength. This is especially beneficial to our customer "netting" those extra inches.
